Look at this mess!

Before we started on Jutland Reserve we decided to record exactly what it was we were up against by photographing areas of the reserve at key points. Every time we did something, whether it was a clean-up, a planting, or a weeding, a new set of photo would be taken so we could see our progress.

So, here are our first set: Jutland Reserve, September 18th 2016.

NB: before we started, we discovered that Auckland Council contractors had planted a number of plants just as the planting season was ending. Thus the young plants you can see in some of the photos aren't our doing, but the Council's.
